Jenny: One Lucky Girl-

I know I’m probably a decade late but I just finished watching Forrest Gump wearing cufflinks for men, I couldn’t help but feel jealous of Jenny, Forrest’s beloved.

A lot of people would probably want that same unconditional love Forrest has demonstrated. Even distance and lack of communication could not kill his love for this Jenny. We know that these two things are the common culprits for tragic love stories. If not, well, that’s what most people tell their lovers when they wanna break up, right?

Jenny is one lucky lady. And to think that Jenny has demonstrated all the possible flaws a person could have to be deemed unworthy of such love. She has come from a bad family background, didn’t finish school, resorted to prostitution, became a hippie and then a drug addict. She’s a package to boot, a very messy package. And still Forrest loved her and offered everything. She was a fool to have delayed their inevitable love story.

To Forrest Gump, you’re THE man.
