I’m having a hard time with my current boss because he is being difficult. And I thought about The Office and Michael Scott. And so, that is why I thought of this blog all of a sudden. I wish to list the things I will do and will never do when I am boss in the future.
In the near future, when I am boss, I will give clear directions to my members. I will tell them exactly what I want so that their efforts will not be useless. I will make sure that I establish my relationship with my subordinates. I will not push them so hard so that they will not hate me nor dread waking up everyday.
I will also make sure to know my subordinates well so that I know what motivates them and what unnerves them. As a boss, I will understand that I need my subordinates as much as they need me. I will not belittle them or insult them directly or indirectly. I will be true leader and not a bully.
In the future, I will be the greatest boss ever known.

In terms of looking for great American talents in singing, there is no doubt that Fox’s American Idol is the most famous and most anticipated talent search series. NBC, one of Fox’s rival networks in the United States, launched a new program which introduces a new design for finding talents.
NBC’s The Voice, which was based on a reality singing talent search The Voice of Holland, was launched earlier this year and and was produced by Dutch producer John de Mol.
The talent search employed four world-renowned singers to as as mentors to the fortunate talents handpicked by the mentors themselves. Season 1 mentors were Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine from Maroon 5.
The unique element of the show is the way the mentors pick their talents. Candidates would perform while the mentors’ seats are turned which allows the mentors to have no prejudice for the candidates’ looks and just base their judgement on the candidates’ voices.
The show proved to be a success and the show will have a second season, SOON. To fellow fans, let’s keep our fingers crossed!

I never borrowed books from a very close friend of mine simply because we had different perceptions on what I call a book’s beauty marks: its wrinkles and lines and food allergy testing austin.
She was very conscious of any visible mark on her books. She was one of those people who took so much care in reading their books, reading the pages through at most 45 degree angle of view that they don’t leave any mark or crease and their books would always look the way it did when they bought it.
I, on the other hand, appreciate old looking books with their wrinkles and lines along their spines. I love what the wrinkles and lines symbolize: the great experience and usefulness the book went through, the number of people who flipped through the pages and absorbed what the books had to offer. I love my books when they look worn out and used because I know I have fulfilled the books’ purpose.

I love music and my genre is very diverse. Save for my (ahem, ahem) golden voice, I am not gifted anywhere else. I’ve tried to learn a lot of musical instruments in the past but I never learned to play in the end even I have my own steel drum. How I wish music would love me the way I love it.
For people who are like me, lovers of music but just can’t seem to get it right, O2 Jam sheds light to our darkened music paths. O2 Jam is an online PC game developed in Korea where players get to choose their preferred instruments and play their hearts away to the beat of various musical selections. You can choose between three basic musical instruments: the guitar, the drums and the keyboard.
To play the game, you just have to press the designated keys in your keyboard in time with the beat. Just like playing the real instrument, you have to have timing and a sense of rhythm. O2 Jam literally delivered musicality right at your fingertips and all that is left to do is to tap to your heart’s content.

Across the Universe (movie) is a musical romantic drama which used the famous songs of the Beatles. I could say that the movie had a great take on the songs and gave duly justice to both the original singers and songwriters.
I’ve always been a Beatles fan by default—my mom is a big fan and my taste in music was shaped by the songs I heard my mom singing. As a child, I’ve often hear Beatles songs and even now, every now and then, I’d still hear Beatles songs over the radio.
When I watched the Across the Universe movie, I loved Beatles songs more than ever. The renditions for the movie and the original version by the Beatles had distinct characters. I can stay that as a more modern and contemporary version, the soundtrack of the movie speaks to me easier but it can’t beat the charm of the original versions. The originals by comparison speak to me more intimately. But hey, I love to listen to both versions.
Kudos to the cast of the movie for a great work!

I have always been a music lover. And my taste in music is very diverse. I listen to almost anything from rock to classic to broadway to pop and even Asian music. Music has always been a part of my life. I listen to music when I’m studying, or when I’m feeling down or feeling kind of festive. It serves as the greatest entertainment the world has to offer to me.
Recent studies show a strong connections been music training and other mental abilities of a person. A group or researchers from Austin, Texas compared preschool children who had taken music lessons to those who did not. They found out that the children which received music training showed larger brain responses in sound recognition. This indicates that music training can modify the brain’s auditory complex.
As a music lover, it is good to know that there is more to music that meets the ears.

Yes, I am a big fan of prepaid cell phones.. but that’s not our topic for today. Fans of any kind at all really intrigue me. It’s not that I’m saying that I’m not a fan of anything at all myself. But it’s the intense fans that really interest me.
Wherever you go and whatever kinds of people or things that merit fans, there will always be two extreme kinds. The first ones are the very enthusiastic and intense fans and the second ones are the very disapproving fans aka haters.
It truly fascinates me how these people can feel so strongly about being a fan to the point where they really do their utmost to be updated. In terms of people fans, they even go so far as stalking and invading privacy. Haters on the other hand go so far as to issue death threats.

The number of things that people could get addicted to is growing larger. And I’m not just talking about illegal drugs or gambling. New age addictions have already started growing in the form of activities that can be done legally. I’m talking about on line gaming, surfing, or just about anything that can be done on line.
You might be skeptical about this trivia but it’s true. There are a lot of people, young and old, who get easily sucked in into leaving reality and literally living on line. They’ve finally found things that they’re passionate about doing and with people who are just as passionate as they. And they can’t stop themselves.
If you think you’re one of them, you better start changing your ways before you find yourself stuck in a big problem.
Hey did you know there are people who are addicted in buyin floor mats Not sure, maybe they love to collect them or something.
